What is ZERO+ (sugar substitute from NEOH)?

ZERO+ is a proprietary sugar substitute developed by NEOH and used in all our products. We have replaced 100% of the added sugar with ZERO+. Perfected over more than 15 years and scientifically tested, our sugar alternative consists of over 90% plant-based fiber—derived from sources such as agave, chicory, corn, and wheat. Study results show that ZERO+ causes significantly smaller fluctuations in blood sugar levels than glucose, helping to prevent cravings and fatigue after consumption.
What does "scientifically proven" mean?

"Scientifically proven" refers to the ZERO+ formula (scientifically: ENSO 16): In a randomized, double-blind crossover study conducted by the Medical University of Vienna (published in *Scientific Reports*, *Nature*, June 2024), 15 healthy adults received a single dose of either 30 g of ZERO+ or 30 g of glucose. Result: The maximum rise in blood sugar was significantly lower with ZERO+ (+20 mg/dL) compared to glucose (+117 mg/dL). Insulin and C-peptide levels also showed a significantly smaller increase.
